I tried the free version of match1995.com, it didn’t feel very useful. Most of the features you’d actually want to use seem to be locked behind a paid upgrade, so I mostly ended up clicking around without getting much out of it. If they’re going to offer a free version, they should be more upfront about what you can and can’t do before people spend time signing up. Not really worth it for me.

I liked that the communication limits were laid out clearly, so there wasn’t any, uh, weird surprise later. The site worked fine for me, and people replied fast too.

I’m giving match1995.com 5 stars mainly because there were way more people on it than I expected. Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve tried sites where you keep seeing the same handful of profiles, and this didn’t feel like that at all.
I kept noticing new people logging in, so it actually felt active instead of abandoned. I also got replies faster than I thought I would, which kind of confirmed for me that there are real users here and not just empty profiles.

The site itself isn’t the fanciest-looking thing ever, but it works. If you care more about having plenty of people to browse than a super polished design, I’d say this one is worth checking out.

I reached out to support earlier today while I was drinking my second coffee, and they replied way faster than I expected. The issue was sorted out quickly, which was a nice surprise for a random Tuesday

I canceled my match1995.com account last week, i was bracing myself for some kind of runaround. I always get nervous with dating sites because I feel like they’re going to hide the cancel button or trick me into staying signed up, but the option was right there in my account settings.

I got the confirmation email almost immediately too, which made me feel a lot better because I didn’t have to sit there wondering if I’d been fooled or if it actually went through. Stress-free overall, which I really appreciated. 5 stars from me.
